The Resort of Luosto located above the Arctic Circle provides an ideal venue for a picturesque summer photoraphy holiday in Lapland. Here we are blessed with outstanding Lapland scenery ideal for landscape photography. In addition by timing your visit to coincide with either the Midnight Sun or Ruska (fall Foliage) period there are many unique compositions available.
Your accommodation for this photography holiday will be provided in the Flying Reindeer Lodge Refurbished in 2003 this Finnish log built lodge is a combination of a traditional log lodge and a European style catered chalet. Located in its own wooded grounds,some 400 meters from the resort centre, the lodge offers two separate lounges each with large log fires, TV, video/DVD and reading area. Private male and female saunas are available to use. Each bedroom is equipped with private state of the art sensor technology shower and WC.
A full week's programme is planned under the careful supervision of a professional photographer, enabling all participants to secure maximum benefit from this holiday.
The tour cost includes full board and transportation to various settings in the Luosto locality. Apart from the beautiful landscapes available, Lapland, being the home to the reindeer and huskies ensures there are additional photography opportunities available to capture these animals in their natural setting. Altogether this should be considered a summer holiday or autumn holiday on which you will have a great time and memories for the rest of your life. Of course it is expected that you will depart with new knowledge and techniques that you will be able to put in good practice in the forthcoming years. A total of 4 tours are offered two each during the period of the midnight sun and the fall (Ruska).
